having problems with media sharing

ok here is what is going on... my bro has windows 7 and media sharing is working fine shows up on the ps3 and i can copy to the ps3 and also stream now the messed up part..my gfs comp has windows vista home premium and i went through all the settings the same way as my bro's comp and it showed up i could do everything jut like his comp but bout a hour later her comp just dissappeared off the ps3.. now when i go through all the setting and check wmp it shows the ps3 on there allows me to change the settings everything is checked....i have went through a lot of forums done the things they have said to do or try and still it is not showing up on the ps3...if anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it thanks
