Eric Schmidt shows off a Nexus S at the Web 2.0 summit, says Gingerbread coming in ‘next few weeks’

We had a feeling Eric Schmidt would be doing something surprising at the Web 2.0 summit, and the man didn't disappoint -- he just showed off the Nexus S running on T-Mobile, and revealed it has NFC features, a technology he thinks will eventually replace credit cards. Unfortunately, he also called it an "unannounced phone" from an "announced manufacturer," and the logo was taped over, so we're not any closer to a release date here. iOS 4.1 is live, available to download right now

If you can just put down Angry Birds for one minute and plug your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod touch 3rd generation, or iPod touch 4th generation into iTunes, you should be in for a pleasant non-surprise : iOS 4.1 is finally out and ready for your consumption. It's not a huge update , but Game Center is an exciting addition (for the few, proud devices that are getting it), and we're sure your face will be happy to stop getting accused for iPhone 4 hang-ups with the long overdue proximity sensor fix (shots of the changelog are after the break).

How do you disable the pop up blocker on a blackberry curve phone?

Prevented from exploring several sites on my blackberry’s browser and the downloaded mini Opera browser because I constantly get a “disable your pop up blocker to access this site. I have gone into Options>Browser Configuration>Allow Java script pop ups, but still no solution to the problem. I have even reset(turned off) my phone after doing this. Still no success! Please help and thanks in advance.
