Palm’s tablet is codenamed ‘Topaz,’ keyboard accessory leaks out
Okay, it's not exactly the new webOS hardware we've been waiting for, but we just got this shot of a Palm Bluetooth keyboard from a trusted source -- we're told it's an accessory for Palm's upcoming tablet , which is codenamed "Topaz." Interestingly, we're told the keyboard features a Windows key in addition to some webOS-specific keys -- we'd guess that HP will sell it for general use as well. As for the Topaz tablet, it's said to be extremely slick, with no hard buttons on the front and a design that echoes the design of the keyboard -- we're told it's due out in the first half of 2011, which matches up with what we've heard from Palm . We're also told Palm's planning a low-end teen phone that's something like a Pre with no keyboard -- it's codenamed "Castle," (just like the original Pre and Pixi ) and due to hit Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T

LG enV Pro not canceled, just delayed?
A trusted source has told us today that the LG enV Pro -- the latest incarnation of LG's line of dual-screen clamshells for Verizon, and the first with Android -- isn't actually canceled as we'd heard before . It is, however, delayed, with the launch currently scheduled for "some time in January." The good news is that the phone will launch with Android 2.2 installed, leading us to wonder whether the delay was put in place to give LG the time it needs to toss Eclair and get the Froyo build ready...

Editorial: Nokia’s not going to switch to Android or Windows Phone 7, so stop it already
I've had it. I can't take all this Nokia operating system speculation anymore. The final straw came with a VentureBeat piece citing a "trusted source" that claims "Nokia is now likely to use Windows Phone 7 as an additional platform for its phones." Enough already

Droid 2 launching as soon as August 12, embraces Star Wars roots with R2-D2 edition
Ready to have your mind blown? Good, then sit down for a moment: we're hearing from a trusted source that the thoroughly-leaked Motorola Droid 2 for Verizon will be launching on August 12 -- although it seems to be something of a soft launch, because marketing efforts aren't scheduled to kick in until a week and a half later on the 23rd. What's even more interesting, though, is that there'll be a Star Wars edition of the phone launching with a white R2-D2 on the back

Samsung teases next Android announce, Galaxy S bound for T-Mobile next month?
It's no secret that Samsung wants to spread its high-end Galaxy S far and wide , but the exact details of its US attack have been a mystery thus far. TmoNews is reporting a "trusted source" as saying that the phone is pegged for a launch on T-Mobile on July 21, which matches up with some chatter we've been hearing as well. Though T-Mobile's been supporting Android as aggressively as any carrier in the world, the company lacks a hero device -- something akin to the Droid Incredible or EVO 4G -- so it would stand to reason that Samsung's best Android gear to date would be a good fit over there

AT&T scheduled to get Sony Ericsson X10 in week 30 of this year
We've just gotten word from a trusted source that AT&T is currently signed up to get Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 in fiscal week 30 of 2010, which represents the tail end of July and the beginning of August. Naturally, those plans can change -- AT&T has been known to drop Sony Ericssons from the lineup at the last minute , after all, and there's no way they could have that week 30 time frame locked in with certainty this far in advance -- but it seems at least plausible considering the fact that an 850 / 1900MHz 3G version of the device exists ( we've tested it ) and that AT&T's significantly ramping up its support for Android this year.

Nokia N8 being announced mid-April
We've just been told by a trusted source that Nokia will announce a new flagship device dubbed N8 in the middle of next month. That's not around any major trade shows that we're aware of, but it is just before the company's Annual General Meeting in Helsinki -- and naturally, it doesn't hurt their relationship with major investors to have just introduced a killer new device. For what it's worth, we just saw a leaked photo yesterday morning of a Symbian^3-based phone purporting to be the N8, so this lines up rather nicely, doesn't it
