Motorola’s ‘Tablet Evolution’ video teases some Honeycomb at CES
It's on, suckers. Motorola just sent us this "Tablet Evolution" teaser video for their CES 2011 announcements, and it doesn't mince any words -- it calls the iPad a "giant iPhone" and says the Samsung Galaxy Tab is running Android "for a phone" before closing out with a buzzing bee over that new red Motorola logo . That certainly suggests some Honeycomb action to us -- and it fits perfectly with Andy Rubin demonstrating the next-gen version of Android on a Motorola tablet back at D: Dive Into Mobile.

Panasonic teases a 13.2MP ‘Lumix phone’ for October 5 unveiling
Looks like we'll soon have another heavyweight to throw into the renewed cameraphone wars , as Panasonic has put up a teaser site for its first Lumix -branded phone. Lumix is of course Panasonic's camera label, which counts among its luminary membership the likes of the GF1 and the newly refreshed LX5 . The new phone shooter promises to beat both in terms of pure resolution with its 13.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, which is accompanied by a 3.3-inch LCD atop a 146-gram body

Sony teases something smarter, our money’s on Xperia
Sony's website is slowly ticking down the hours, minutes and seconds until the company's latest product launch, but like all other Sony teasers in recent memory, there's little real doubt. If references to "X10" peppered through the site's source code left any doubt, this picture should clear it up -- mark our words, that's an Xperia X10 underneath the clock. Apparently the four-inch Android smartphone is finally ready for its US debut, though whether it's "smarter" or no will probably depend on which version of the OS it ships with

Droid X commercial reveals a few specs — if you look very, very closely
Verizon's got a teaser ad running for the upcoming Droid X now, but if you see it on TV and you don't have a DVR that can slow down the action, you're going to miss all the good stuff -- in fact, all you really see at full speed is a scary eye that slowly transforms into the lifeless, blood-red vision sensor of a killer robot.

RIM shows off BlackBerry 6 on video
While RIM's WES 2010 keynote is still ongoing , the company's YouTube channel has kindly released the first teaser video for the incoming BlackBerry 6 operating system. There's a lot of movement on screen -- so much, in fact, that it's almost like RIM really doesn't want you to see the OS at all. We did catch sight of a Cover Flow -aping music organizer, an onscreen keyboard engaging in some threaded messaging, Facebook and Twitter clients, and even the briefest of glimpses at that infamous WebKit-based browser

Nokia teases ‘everyone connect,’ keep your hands to yourselves until then
No idea what this is but the Twitterverse has an inkling that we'll see Ovi Maps integrated with Nokia Messaging . Jury's still out on hardware like, say, the N8-00 -- though as the rumored flagship S^3 device we'd expect its reveal to be a bit more formal than a countdown. Nokia teases 'everyone connect,' keep your hands to yourselves until then originally appeared on Engadget on Mon, 12 Apr 2010 07:55:00 EST.
