TeliaSonera brings LTE to Denmark
It should come as little surprise that it's TeliaSonera bringing Denmark its first LTE network -- after all, the Swedish company was the first to launch LTE service commercially anywhere in the world in mid-2009, so we already know they're moving aggressively to spiff up northern Europe's data services. Currently covering the four largest Danish cities, TeliaSonera says that it wants to cover 75 percent of the population (which is very different from 75 percent of the country's surface area, keep in mind) in 2011

Vodafone’s Microsoft Surface: like Go Fish for phones
Microsoft worked with Vodafone late last year to deploy Surfaces to a few dozen stores in several European countries (much as AT&T has done in the US), and one of those units happens to be set up at the carrier's IFA booth this week.

CTIA Wireless 2010 draws to a close
Ah, Las Vegas... we hardly knew ye! Okay, that's categorically untrue -- CTIA Wireless 2010 actually marks our third official visit to Sin City in as many months, which means it's nothing short of a miracle that we're not lying in a ditch somewhere in the sun-scorched outskirts of town, penniless and near death.

Spracht Aura EQ (the really real version) hands-on
We got a glimpse at Spracht's new Aura EQ Bluetooth headset back at CES this year , but in reality, we sort of didn't -- what was being shown back then didn't constitute final ID, turns out. The company's back at it here at CTIA showing something closer to what you'll be seeing on store shelves later this half -- though they only had one, and it wasn't in final retail packaging -- so we took a minute to check it out

Engadget is live from CTIA 2010!
We're live from CTIA Wireless once again, ready to bring you pretty much non-stop coverage of the goings-on in Las Vegas until we collapse, the show runs out of goods, or we get completely lost in the embrace of some heretofore unannounced handset. So what are we expecting to see, exactly

China Mobile given OK to set up shop in Taiwan
It's not every day that a Chinese company gets regulatory approval to invest in Taiwan. Actually, a Chinese company has never before been given permission to invest in Taiwan's communications infrastructure, so it's pretty big news here that the world's largest carrier by subscribers -- China Mobile -- has just been greenlighted to set up a subsidiary there. Initially, they're going in under the guise of becoming an electronics wholesaler, but longer term, they're interested in taking a 12 percent stake in local carrier Far EasTone that would work out to $17.8 billion Taiwan dollars (roughly $558 million) which would represent a pretty unprecedented level of technical synergy between the nations

Aava Mobile’s Intel Moorestown prototype hands-on
The LG GW990 got the lion's share of the attention, but Intel showed off a second Moorestown -based MID (or giant smartphone, if you like) back at CES from Finnish startup Aava Mobile -- more a prototype reference design created to show off Moblin 2.1's capabilities than a retail-ready product -- and it's back in force here at MWC this week. What's really striking about this thing is just how much smaller it is than the GW990, probably a good 70 percent smaller by surface area while still managing a shell just 11.7mm thick. Besides Moblin, the proto fully supports Android (though we only saw it on Moblin at Intel's booth) and will naturally support MeeGo going forward.

Tips on Preventing YLOD
okay ive heard some tips to prevent this and some ways u can get YLOD: (Yellow Light of Death) 1) leaving ur ps3 on too long for more than a day (who would leave it on for more than a day really?) 2)leaving it on the rug/carpet and not on a hard flat surface 3) keeping it tooo close to the wall and not cleaning the ps3, allowing dust to come in the system 4) placing the ps3 in a vertical way (stading up while playing ps3 or watever) ive heard these can cause the YLOD and heard that the original 60gb ps3 can get it much more than any other version of ps3 is this true?

iPhone and Magic Mouse linked up by BTstack (video)
Even though you probably still can't figure out what good the ability to connect your Bluetooth keyboard to your iPhone will do, the BTstack project is steaming ahead with this demo of a connected Magic Mouse twirling its pointer all over Apple's handset. The driver code is still unreleased, but we get to see some nice lag-free interaction between the two devices, suggesting it shouldn't be too far away from public consumption. As if to answer your earlier quandary, the video also features a Celluon CL800BT virtual keyboard, which projects onto and responds to your touch of any flat surface.
