Nokia X7 weighs rising shot AT & T brand, to support the hopes and dreams (updated withdrawn)

Is AT & T seriously is preparing to sell Nokia’s smartphone supported again in the U.S.? Long absence of the company to include all U.S. airline smartphone section, it still feels more like a dream into a reality of the future, but the picture above is certainly hard to ignore. According Pocketnow ‘s sources, press photos Nokia X7 is legitimate, and AT & T brand is not a coincidence. Apparently, ^ 3 Symbian-based phones Ma Bell is coming to stores this month, which included eight-megapixel camera (with dual-flash), four Speaker (including the two drivers below), and clear black screen . Hit the source link below to look back. />
Update: Our dreams were dashed Pocketnow , which says the original source is out of date – AT & T is apparently X7 aimed at stock under the name “Nokia Journey” Mobile World Congress in time to launch, but those plans have reportedly been canceled AT & T itself. />
[Thanks, Ben E.]

Novatel’s USB551L LTE modem for Verizon in the wild, does Mac support out of the box

How many dedicated LTE -capable USB modems does Verizon need? At least three, apparently, because we've just been sent shots of Novatel's upcoming USB551L that looks perhaps a tad glossier and sleeker than the Pantech and LG models that have preceded it . Hard to say from the spec sheet here, but it looks like there's at least a chance this is LTE-only without CDMA / EV-DO fallback since there's no explicit mention of it; unlikely considering how small Verizon's LTE footprint is for the time being, but you never know.

Windows Phone 7 said to be getting major ‘Mango’ update in August or September

We'd already heard that Windows Phone 7 is set to get an update of some sort early next year -- possibly coinciding with Mobile World Congress in February -- but ZD Net's Mary Jo Foley is now reporting that an even bigger update could be following in August or September. According to her sources, the update is codenamed "Mango," and it will effectively amount to Windows Phone 7.5, which she says might even be the actual name when it's released

Mo-DV bringing major motion pictures to microSD cards

Hard to say why this here fad is just now catching on -- after all, select studios warmed to the idea of putting their content onto portable flash storage years ago. That said, we've seen both Flix on Stix and this here contraption surface within the same month, but honestly, we're having a hard time believing that it's a niche waiting to explode. Mo-DV has just announced a new Universal Player for microSD cards, enabling Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile and your everyday Windows PC to play back DRM'd movies stored on a microscopic slab of memory.

It's no secret that RIM doesn't exactly agree with Steve Jobs' characterization of the company's prospects, and Jim Balsillie has some more to say on the Apple vs.

LG Cosmos Touch hits Verizon November 23rd for $80

We're having a harder time by the day getting excited about a touchscreen dumbphone with a 1.3 megapixel camera for $80 -- especially now that you've got a number of respectable Android choices below that price point -- but if you're an LG diehard, you need physical QWERTY, and you couldn't care less about the Android Market, we suppose you might want to give the once-rumored , now-official Cosmos Touch a look. Besides the 2.8-inch wide QVGA display, you've got Bluetooth 2.1, memory expansion up to 16GB, some semblance of social networking support, and VZ Navigator turn-by-turn navigation on board. Interested

Google ‘archiving’ Nexus One support forum next month, turning it read-only

If you have a Nexus One , you plan on having it for a while, and you want to talk about it, you're going to have to find another place to do it come November 1 -- because that's the day Google has chosen to shut down its own Nexus One support forum, archive it, and make its contents read-only. Seems like an extraordinarily illogical and user-hostile move to us -- especially considering that the phone is still thoroughly modern, runs the latest available version of Android, and was released this year ... but if there's a silver lining to this mess, it'd have to be the fact that there's no shortage of third-party sites and forums that will be happy to pick up the slack.

HTC Mozart slips out on official Orange UK website, shows us how to replace its SIM and battery

This is so bad, it's hilarious. As if the HTC Mozart needed any further confirmation of its existence and imminent arrival to British shores , Orange's official web portal has decided to instruct us on how to replace the internal bits of this unannounced Windows Phone 7 handset.

HTC Desire HD ROM ported to Droid Incredible, Desire

You've already seen it ported to the HTC HD2 , and it looks like the recently-leaked HTC Desire HD ROM has now also made its way to two more likely candidates for a port: the Droid Incredible and original Desire. As you might expect, there are a few issues that you'll likely want to consider before diving right in -- there's no camera support yet on either phone, for instance -- but it does look like it otherwise reasonably stable for a beta, and it does bring some of the boot speed improvements seen on the Desire HD itself .
