LG Neon II hits up AT&T, lords 3G over its predecessor

It took a little longer than we'd anticipated , but LG's Neon II has finally filtered down from the snowcapped northern realms to the North -- though strangely, the version AT&T's getting looks quite different (and worse, if you ask us) from Rogers' model . Besides the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, you get a 2 megapixel cam, 2.4-inch QVGA display, and little else -- in other words, it's basically a refreshed Neon that's mercifully been graced with 3G for the first time. Interested parties can sign up right now for $29.99 on contract after discount

Cyanogen Mod 6 — the one with Froyo — hits target list of devices, first stable release

If 6.0.0 RC1 just wasn't cutting it for ya, CyanogenMod-6.0 has released what's being touted as the "first stable release based on Android 2.2" and has hit the target number of supported devices, which by our quick count includes EVO 4G, Slide, Nexus One, Dream / Magic, Aria, and Droid -- and we might be missing a few.. You know the drill; if you need a bit of Froyo in your mobile life.

T-Mobile webConnect Rocket 2.0 USB WWAN modem now on sale

Timely, no? In concert with its HSPA+ expansion , T-Mobile USA has decided to come clean with that webConnect Rocket 2.0 that we peeked a few weeks ago courtesy of a leaked presentation slide. Said device isn't drastically different than the original, offering a mildly overhauled design and "a new rotating swivel USB form factor." The bigger news is the expanded platform support, with this bugger now playing nice with Windows 7, XP, Vista and any version of OS X since 10.4.

BlackBerry Storm 3 detailed in training slide: same look, more RAM?

For those of you hoping that RIM could pull off a handset capable of challenging the incredibly slim and futuristic tree-borne Android handsets in the touchphone hardware arena, you'll have to dream past the Storm 3 . From the looks of it, we'll be getting a fairly minor "refresh" of the Storm 2, according to our tipster, with upgrades more designed to accommodate BlackBerry 6 than anything. As seen on the the slide, the phone will double the Storm 2's RAM with 512MB, the camera will be bumped up to 5 megapixels, and the WiFi is being shifted to 802.11n -- a spec RIM is already rocking on the Pearl 3G , so not unprecedented.

Android 2.2 coming to the full myTouch 3G range

TmoNews has it on good authority that the entire line of myTouch 3G devices -- the original , the 3.5mm jack update , and the Slide -- will get upgraded with Android 2.2 , as evidenced by a fascinating shot of a pamphlet the site has posted. Users of the older devices will also get the same Genius Button functionality that was just rolled out on the Slide, along with the updated Faves app and full Microsoft Exchange support, breathing new life into a phone that first saw life as the Magic well over a year ago

T-Mobile slide deck chats up myTouch 3G Slide’s June 2 launch

After taking a look at this launch deck for T-Mobile's myTouch 3G Slide , it's becoming more obvious than ever that T-Mobile is taking the myTouch brand very seriously -- it's not just about a product, it's about an ongoing line of devices that all prescribe to the same socially-connected principles. In fact, with the effective loss of Sidekick to Verizon now that the ex-Danger team has thrown its weight behind Kin , you might even argue that the myTouch line is being positioned to take over where Sidekick left off, and that's evidenced when you see that they're referring to myTouch as a "franchise" throughout these slides. Follow the break for some of the highlights! T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide coming June 2 for $180

So T-Mobile's myTouch 3G Slide -- the QWERTY-enabled version of the venerable myTouch 3G -- has been priced and dated, and we're happy to see that "expected to be available in June" has turned out to mean the very beginning of the month; June 2, to be exact, in your choice of red, white, or black.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide official: Android 2.1, QWERTY, coming in June (we go hands-on)

Hey, CLIQ , better check that rear-view mirror, because you've got an interesting competitor coming right up on your tail. T-Mobile is launching another midrange Android QWERTY slider -- some might argue the G1's true successor -- christened the myTouch 3G Slide (not quite the "myTouch Slide" we've been hearing for a few months) with a 3.4-inch HVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, and a pretty heavily-customized skin based on Android 2.1 . How custom are we talking, exactly
