Vodafone’s R201 mobile router has OLED display, microSD sharing

Novatel's MiFi line has set a standard for the way mobile 3G routers are expected to look and work, but let's be honest -- there's always room for improvement. We've been tipped today with word of Vodafone's R201 model sourced from Huawei, a device we've previously seen in the FCC with support for full HSPA. It'll handle up to five users at once -- pretty standard for these kinds of devices -- and feature an Overdrive -like OLED display up top and charging / tethering via micro-USB

Connection speed……..What do you think?

My PS3 and Laptop are both wireless and used in the same part of the home.  I have SURFboard extreme D3 modem and an N+ router.  I upgraded my ISP and get on average 32mb download and 8.5mb upload on my laptop.  I can do four speed tests one after another on my PS3 and get anywhere from 1.7mb to 7.9mb download speed on my PS3.  My PS3 is about 3 years old.  Any ideas on how to improve this?   If I hardwire I would have to use a cable splitter for my broadband....anyone use a splitter?  and what kind of speed decrease do you see?  or does it still improve connection speed
