When the main business is wrapped in emerging markets, Nokia is therefore best to know a little KIRFs one thing – they are cheap clones of the handset that our Chinese friends often an end more quickly than the time it takes to ship the Nokia handset after notification. The members of the Nokia Board, Esko Aho, says that one in five mobile phones now sold worldwide (mainly in Asia, Latin America, and in some parts of Europe) is an illegal or unauthorized clone. certainly we saw over itself when browsing the Shenzhen market in China. Gartner claims the number even higher than 20 percent. Although we do not spoil it KIRFs their nasty software, comically similar branding (Nokla!), and the cheapo materials, clearly they have become a very serious problem for top-level mobile phone manufacturers. How do we see a serious January 27, when Nokia will publish its fourth quarter results.

Is AT & T seriously is preparing to sell Nokia’s smartphone supported again in the U.S.? Long absence of the company to include all U.S. airline smartphone section, it still feels more like a dream into a reality of the future, but the picture above is certainly hard to ignore. According Pocketnow ‘s sources, press photos Nokia X7 is legitimate, and AT & T brand is not a coincidence. Apparently, ^ 3 Symbian-based phones Ma Bell is coming to stores this month, which included eight-megapixel camera (with dual-flash), four Speaker (including the two drivers below), and clear black screen . Hit the source link below to look back. />
Update: Our dreams were dashed Pocketnow , which says the original source is out of date – AT & T is apparently X7 aimed at stock under the name “Nokia Journey” Mobile World Congress in time to launch, but those plans have reportedly been canceled AT & T itself. />
[Thanks, Ben E.]

So here’s how the story goes: employees at Nokia facilities in Oulu and Tampere, Finland, were fed up with negotiations being held between their representatives and the company over planned layoffs, and decided to do something about it. But really, why strike or organize a rally when you can just socialize, use a few prototype devices for target practice, and get your Cavalier King Charles spaniel some fresh air at the same time? If this keeps up long enough, these staffers might have second careers as competition-level phone tossers. Hit up the source link for the full video — but be warned, if you love Nokias, you might find the video graphic, violent, and objectionable.

Nokia showed its €20 BH-106 a couple months ago, and now we’ve got the $39.99 EASYGO from Jabra, a peripheral the company says is perfect for “Bluetooth beginners.” Presumably, Jabra would love to see a customer graduate from this to something like a Stone2 when the time’s right, but that doesn’t mean the EASYGO is a slouch: it’s got verbal guidance of battery level and pairing status, a feature that you don’t always see in this segment of the market. If you’re looking for a cheap stocking stuffer and you’re trying to get someone to take their hands off their phone while they’re driving, you’re in luck — it’s available now.

On top of the 1,800 job cuts announced back in October, Nokia has announced this week that will be cutting another 800 positions right in Finland, the company's home turf. The good news is that the announcement was made only after negotiations with the affected employees were wrapped up, and they'll be getting anywhere between 5 and 15 months of severance pay -- and at least some of the staffers will be offered different positions elsewhere in the company. Nokia is in the midst of a fairly significant restructuring from top to bottom as it tries to claw its way back into the hearts and minds of consumers: it's got a new CEO , a new operating system , a new relationship with the Symbian Foundation , and some freshly trimmed fat, so let's hope Espoo's got a killer 2011 in the cards.

Oh dear. Like the N8 before it, Nokia just confirmed to us that the Symbian-powered E7 slider will be delayed. The official word has it launching in early 2011, not December 2010. We’ve been told that Nokia’s holding up production due to a “minor durability issue” discovered in the E7 hardware. We can’t blame Nokia for wanting to ensure the best possible user experience — it’s just a shame that it will require the holiday shopping season to sort it out.

Last time he did this he burned the then unannounced Nokia N8 to the ground. He’s coy with any details but the “I do not like this device” machine translation is pretty telling as is that AT&T logo.
Sure, your N8 might take a great picture — but is it about to become a hotbed of legal wrangling between Espoo and one of the more prolific research universities in the States? We love us some heady courtroom drama, and Pasadena’s Caltech is now officially attempting to bring the smack down on Nokia, LG, Pantech, Toshiba, STMicroelectronics, and others over a total of nine patents related to sensor technology (as far as we can tell, lens optics aren’t involved). For its troubles, the university wants unspecified damages for infringing on the intellectual property… which, if it wins, we’re hoping we’ll be poured into its Jet Propulsion Laboratory. You know, because rockets are awesome.

The company touts that it’s a win-win — better battery life, less unnecessary network utilization — and also points out that Nokia implemented the technique in all of its smartphones starting earlier this year. Since network-controlled fast dormancy is a feature that benefits the network itself as much as it benefits the individual user, knocking out two power players like Nokia and Apple (over half of new smartphone sales, NSN points out) should make a big dent.

Interestingly, NSN seems to have arrived at this discovery through “tests” it conducted, not by working with Apple on implementing it. Sure, we don’t pretend to know all the interactions that occur between manufacturers, carriers, and suppliers during a phone’s development, but it certainly seems to us that Apple would benefit by engaging infrastructure companies early and often as these baseband updates come together — particularly as it seeks to keep a tight lid on the very congestion issues that network-controlled fast dormancy is designed to help eliminate. Either way, it’s interesting to see how quick Nokia Siemens was to probe for the change this time around.
