AT&T-branded BlackBerry Bold 9780 spotted by way of eBay
T-Mobile's got an American lock on the Bold 9780 at the moment, but you know how it goes with BlackBerrys: they tend to go pretty much everywhere ( Storm and Torch notably excepted) if you give 'em enough time. Sure enough, an AT&T-branded version just popped up... and if you've got $899 lying around and an undying love for unreleased RIM gear, it can be yours.

Sprint execs leave Clearwire board out of an ‘abundance of caution’
Well, it looks like Sprint and Clearwire aren't taking any chances when it comes to some of the new antitrust rules now in place. Clearwire has just announced that the three Sprint executives now on its board will be resigning out of an "abundance of caution" -- that includes Sprint CEO Dan Hesse , along with division presidents Keith O. Cowan and Steven L

T-Mobile throws in up to three extra lines for free on family plans
It doesn't last forever, but T-Mobile's throwing big families a bone for the moment with a deal that makes the third, fourth, and fifth lines free on family plans (typically, only the first and second are offered at no additional charge). They're only free through 2012, but that gives you well over a year of cost-free bliss for your tykes' BlackBerrys; 200 minutes are included with each additional line and you can pay to upgrade them to unlimited if you're a "cool" parent. You are a cool parent, aren't you?

Samsung Intercept ambushed in the wild, features higher res screen (video)
When we first got word of a Samsung Moment successor , we were concerned it would be too little, too late... but this week a man headed off Sammy's new Intercept at a Best Buy (for $100, reportedly), and there's slightly more to this device than it originally seemed. While the form factor and features are familiar enough -- a QWERTY slider with a 3.2 megapixel camera and 3.2-inch screen -- that display apparently sports a 800 x 480 resolution now, the keyboard seems much improved, ports and buttons have been thoroughly revamped, and the whole unit's been given a lovely sheen

LG Sentio priced, dated for T-Mobile
Actually, T-Mobile will do you one better than merely putting a date on the release of the low-end Sentio touchphone -- they'll just go ahead and release it today to make it the carrier's first LG phone ever. That's right: you can now pick up the Sentio in-store and online for $69.99 on contract after $50 mail-in rebate, giving you a trio of threes -- 3-inch display, 3 megapixel cam, and 3G data -- as long as you're happy with a soft-touch blue finish, which is the only option at the moment

Samsung Intercept to replace the Moment on Sprint?
Looks like the Moment 's over for Samsung and Sprint -- check out these these leaked shots of the SPH-M910 Intercept, said to be the carrier's new mid-range Android slider. Screen size is said to be the same at 3.2 inches, and the keyboard certainly looks much nicer, but we can't help but be bummed to hear this thing will launch Froyo-free with Android 2.1 -- a 2.2 update is said to be a "high probability," but it took Samsung and Sprint some seven months to update the Moment to 2.1, so we're not holding our breath
