Nokia N8-00: first Symbian^3 handset with 12 megapixel camera, 720p video, and HDMI leaked in summer roadmap?
Nokia's already tipped its hand for the year Twenty Ten by publicly stating its intent to deliver a sleeker, more attractive, and faster Symbian UI; fewer nags; and at least one Maemo handset before the year is done. What we've been missing though, are the details.

iHome’s iHome+Sleep app ready to lull you into (and out of) a slumber
iHome has taken a momentary break from its endless onslaught of iPod dock-equipped alarm clocks to whip up a little app that plays nice with said clocks. Of course, alarm clocks and sleep go hand-in-hand, so it makes sense that the so-called iHome+Sleep app for iPhone and iPod touch would basically amount to a fancy alarm management system when paired with any of the company's "app-enhanced" models, complete with social network integration for letting all your friends and enemies what kind of tunes you're waking and falling asleep to. You can set multiple recurring alarms with different playlists, get a variety of vital stats on your slumber, keep tabs on the weather situation, and generally keep your nightstand looking cooler than average.

Samsung Shark series puts weight on social networks, reasonable price
Given that the terms "AMOLED" and "Kevlar" both appear in Samsung's press release for the new Shark line of phones, we were intrigued right from the get-go; a deeper look proves that they're nothing incredible, but all three models in the range seem to bring it strong considering their low-end aspirations.

T-Mobile’s Touch Pro2 and Dash 3G signed up for WinMo 6.5 updates this month
So far, it seems like manufacturers (well, HTC and a couple others, anyhow) are staying on the ball about upgrading recent handsets to WinMo 6.5 , and the next deserving pair comes from none other than T-Mobile USA -- the Dash 3G and Touch Pro2 . Of course, the unbranded versions of both of these handsets (the Dash 3G goes by Snap internationally, you may recall) were quite literally the first pre-6.5 devices anywhere to get updated way back in October , so you could make the argument that the American cousins are already way, way behind the curve. Anyhow, the carrier is saying that official updates for both models will be ready for download on the 20th of this month, so get ready to say your final goodbyes to 6.1 and start wishing that you'd received a 6.5.3 update instead

40 and 60 gig vs. 120 gig processor question
I was advised that the processor in the 40 and 60 gig PS 3 was better than latest slim and other models, is this true? I will be buying a PS 3 but don't know what to get, also are the blueray DVD's players very reliable

inPulse smartwatch for BlackBerry wrist-on
We managed to track down the guys from Canada's Allerta and got to spend some time with a couple dummy models of the soon-to-be-released inPulse smartwatch for BlackBerry . Design-wise, it's very attractive, with a brushed metal body and a leather band. As a bonus to early orderers, the first 1,000 sold will be custom-milled on a CNC router -- ironically, it'll actually be more cost-effective for them to do it that way while they build up production volume
