Exclusive: PlayStation Phone ‘Zeus Z1′ prototype benchmarked on video

We can't get enough of Sony Ericsson's PlayStation Phone (also known as Zeus Z1), and we're guessing neither can you. We were just sent a new video of the device in action, only now it's running Qualcomm's Neocore benchmark app. As you can see, the device managed 24.4 frames per second on average.

HTC 7 Mozart first hands-on!

The first word that came to our mind when handling the HTC 7 Mozart was "classy." The aluminum unibody construction conveys a rare sense of rigidity and durability to this phone, while its overall curvature, 3.7-inch LCD screen, and ergonomics invoke memories of the company's Desire and Nexus One Android products.

T-Mobile G2 build flashes to other devices to great results, new widgets

Remember that T-Mobile G2 build that leaked out earlier this week? Even if you didn't, the ROM still managed to find its way onto other Android devices by way of some clever (if not elementary, dear Watson) hacking, and from that very binary comes some vivid imagery.

Sprint Free Guarantee eliminates all traces of buyer’s remorse within 30 day trial

Sprint must be feeling pretty good about its chances against the big guys right now, because it's on the cusp of deploying the most comprehensive money-back guarantee policy in the industry -- a policy that erases every red cent you've spent to pick up service with them in the event you change your mind. Starting tomorrow, new customers will have 30 days to check out their Hero , Pre , Pixi , or whatever other device they happen to choose (no EVO 4G yet, sadly), and if they're not happy, a return to the store will trigger a refund for everything, up to and including the service plan charges, taxes, and fees you've incurred so far. AT&T and Verizon come close to Sprint's policy, but they stop short of refunding the plan itself and charge an activation fee if you take more than 3 days to return your goods, and T-Mobile -- long regarded the customer service king in this biz -- only gives you 20 days and won't even pretend to refund your activation fee.

Nokia N97′s Brain Maze requires steady hand, typical mind-control equipment

Not everyone has one of NeuroSky's MindSet brainwave interface headsets lying around, but in the off chance you do -- and you've got an N97 handy -- this could finally be your ticket to a sharper wit, improved hand-eye coordination, better-smelling breath, and frankly, a whole new you. Forum Nokia regular Paul Coulton has recently thrown together the appropriately-titled Brain Maze for Nokia's flagship S60 5th Edition set, reinterpreting the staple Labyrinth game for accelerometer-equipped handsets by adding in checkpoints controlled by the MindSet's input -- in other words, you've got to (gulp) think to advance through the course. It looks like it couid be a blast, we admit -- but considering how talented we are at completely disabling and unplugging our brains when we sit down in front of a video game, we could be spending months making it past level one
