Microsoft sends out Lego Windows Phone 7 mockup to executives

A helpful tipster hit us up with this little photo today: a Windows Phone 7 mockup styled of Lego bricks. The fake phone is apparently being sent out in real invites to real executives for Microsoft's upcoming sure-to-be-swanky Executive Event for Windows Phone 7 in November (not to be confused with the sure-to-be-pretty-great launch in October ). Our question: where's the Duplo version for Windows Mobile 6.5?

AIR for Android app turns Nexus One into slot car controller (video)

AIR for Android , a Phidgets motor control, a slot car set, and a custom built LEGO housing for good measure -- if this project isn't meant for Engadget, we don't know what is! The premise is pretty straightforward: Grant Skinner uses his Nexus One to send accelerometer data to a desktop PC, which then sends it to a motor controller. In turn, the controller tells the cars how fast to go. Tilt forward a little bit, and the car accelerates a little bit

HTC Hero-controlled Mindstorms bot hints at Android uprising

Using a cellphone to control a robot -- or a pretty sweet helicopter -- isn't exactly a new idea , but there's something about the combination of Android and Lego Mindstorms that promises to break the possibilities wide open. Swedish tech company Enea Link

Controller won’t fireup?

I purchased a new sixaxis controller for my fat ps3 about 6 months ago and was working fine till I put it on a shelf in my office cuz I bought a slim ps3.  I'd like to use the old controller for my son who likes to play lego batman in 2 player mode.  Here's my problem....I plugged the controller into the usb cable to give it a charge and reassign it as "Controller 2"....no problems there...we even played for about 30 min in 2 player mode while it was connected to the cable and charging.  This morning, after letting it charge up overnight I went to unplug it and it went dead...no lights at all.  I pressed the PS button and still nothing...but once I plugged it back in it works fine.  Would this be a battery problem?  Like I mentioned before the controller is only about 6 months old.  I don't know much about battery technology but 6 months to completely kill the battery seems kinda weak.    ps...old controller was on the shelf for about 3  months if that helps.

How do you destroy a Gonk Droid in Lego Star Wars Complete Saga for the Wii?

I can’t beat “New Town” unless I destroy the tough armored Gonk Droids. I’ve tried lightsabers, blasters, AT-XT, disable guns, and even thermal bombs. What is the Gonk Droid’s weakness?
