HTC makes Super LCD screens for Desire and Nexus One official

SLCD-equipped HTC Desire ‘coming soon’ to Telus
We'd already seen an HTC Desire with North American 3G hit the FCC , and it looks like we now know exactly where it's headed -- Telus has just announced that the phone is "coming soon" to its network. What's more, the carrier has also confirmed that the phone will be equipped with a 3.7-inch Sony Super LCD screen instead of the regular AMOLED display that's in short supply . Otherwise, the phone is the same Android 2.1-powered, Snapdragon-based, Sense-skinned device we've seen all along, which is hardly a bad thing -- unless you're waiting for a Desire HD , that is

Sharp’s LR388G9 LCD controller suggests more products with dual screens
While we'll let competitors tell us whether the chip's "an industry first," Sharp's certainly serious about devices with twin screens -- this new LR388G9 controller chip pumps pixels simultaneously to each of two 1,024 x 480 LCDs. Sure, that resolution may sound pathetic compared to your Cinema Display, but this silicon's intended for the likes of e-readers and phones, where a single image that size is desirable and a pair would be most welcome. Never mind that the chip can send 1080p content at 24fps to an external display, too

PS3 brightness flickers on 1080p
I have noticed over the past few times that I watched a Blu-Ray movie through my ps3 at 1080p the brightness or maybe contrast flickers up and down every few seconds the image will momenterily get brighter then return to normal, sometimes repeatedly like a strobe and sometimes just once.At first I thought it was just during darker scenes but have realised that it's all the time but it's just easier to notice in the darker scenes. DVD Blu-Ray and game playing are absolutely fine at 1080i only seems to effect it on 1080p.my TV is a RCA 32-inch High Definition LCD i need some tips or a fix to this problem thanks.

Blu-ray remote won’t work on 3.15 version.
I just go my new Slim 120Gb and a blu.ray remote included, when I try to pair it in the "Accessories blutooth" it asks me if I want to make a new scan, I say yes and it takes ages..It can keep scanning for the whole day but it won't find any device.

hdmi or optical audio for audio output
which is better? i just bought a 32 inch lcd and hooked my ps3 up to it but i had an optical audio cable from when i had it hooked to my surround sound at home. i do not have surround sound at my apartment just a regular tv but it has an optical audio input.
