Apple reportedly abandons supposed push for integrated SIMs in theoretical European iPhones
This one was all rather rumory to begin with, but play along if you don't mind a pile of unconfirmed reports to start the day. A few weeks back it was said that Apple was working with Gemalto to create a non-removable, software-reconfigurable SIM that would be built right into European iPhones, saving a number of headaches for users and, more importantly, for Apple.

New iPhone in June, claims SaskTel CEO
Saskatchewan-based SaskTel isn't the biggest Canadian carrier out there -- it's very regional, along the lines of Cincinnati Bell for the US, in terms of subscribers -- but it's definitely a legit company, and its CEO Robert Watson has casually divulged some potentially major news to the Leader-Post . In a discussion on its 3G network set to launch July 1st, he had this to say: "The good news is that (Apple) is coming out with a new version of the iPhone in the June time-frame and they're going to put us on that.

WSJ: Apple ‘developing new iPhone,’ plus another for Verizon (update: iPhone HD?)
You heard right, folks -- according to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is currently "developing a new iPhone to debut this summer," and as if that weren't enough, it's also "working on another model for US mobile phone operator Verizon Wireless." As of this moment, details about the break are nowhere to be found, but it's not like either tidbit is shocking. This summer will mark the one-year anniversary of the iPhone 3GS , and if the Cupertino-based company keeps with its historical refresh pattern , we're just a few months out from seeing the latest and greatest iPhone. There's also been no shortage of iPhone-to-Verizon rumors over the years, with the latest of 'em happening during the run-up to the iPad's launch

What do you think Apple will do to the iPhone’s software in reaction to the Nexus One?
What improvements do you think it will make?
How many Android phones are out there vs. iPhones?
I see figures all the time about first week sales (the iPhone 3GS sold 1.6 million units in the first week, the MyTouch sold 60,000 units, etc.), but how many Android phones are there total vs iPhones (original, 3G and 3GS)? My belief is that all the Android phones combined in the next two years will surpass the amount of iPhones, but no one Android phone will have market dominance.
