HTC Incredible HD teased for January 6th reveal?

See that? No, not all the ambiguous 4G talk, we mean the veiled phone. If we had to guess we’d say that we’re looking at a January 6th reveal of the HTC Incredible HD / Mecha — a device rumored to be headed to Verizon’s new LTE network. Unfortunately, we don’t know who 2mymob.com is (the domain carrying the tease) or how it’s affiliated with HTC. So don’t go entering your mobile phone number into the field where you can sign up for notifications. The site seems to be linked with Yahoo! marketing and by entering your number you’re consenting to receive “further complimentary marketing text messages by SMS to your mobile phone,” according to the terms and conditions. Don’t do it. We’ll let you know the very minute the Incredible HD is launched, which, by the looks of things will happen at CES in Las Vegas.

Red and white official Droid Incredible backs shipping for $25
They're not showing up on Verizon's site at this point, but you can apparently score first-party replacement battery covers for your Droid Incredible -- not just in the original black, but also in decidedly louder red and white varieties. If you've got a buddy flaunting a white EVO , we can't think of anything better than fire engine red to get him to quiet down a bit -- only problem is you'll be asked to shell out a stiff $24.99 for the privilege. Word is they're available in stores now.

HTC HD3 to be named HD7 in honor of Windows Phone 7, launch October 18?
Ooh boy, do we have a good one for you today. We've been tipped off that the HD3 -- HTC's mythical successor to the wildly popular HD2 -- is not only alive and kicking, but headed for a bright and sunny Windows Phone 7 future, starting as early as October 18. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, all the evidence we have for now is the above spreadsheet, which we're told is an internal planning doc from UK carrier O2.

HTC Droid Incredible update to Froyo rolling out far and wide, manual install available
Yeah, the Droid Incredible update was technically already deployed , but you know how these things work: they're usually long, painful phased rollouts designed to limit the damage if something catastrophic happens in the over-the-air push.

Verizon confirms Android 2.2 update for Droid Incredible hits today
Just as we thought , HTC's Droid Incredible for Verizon is getting boosted from Android 2.1 to 2.2 today, which should make plenty of owners (and plenty of non-owners who've been unable to find any stock for the past couple months) happy as a clam. Major features include pre-installed Flash 10.1, 720p video recording, mobile hotspot support as first introduced for Verizon on the Droid X , and naturally, all the other standard greatness you've come to expect with Froyo . We imagine this update will take a couple weeks to roll out to everyone, so show some patience, Droid Incredible owners -- or, you know, do like we do and search frantically for an update.zip to get posted somewhere.

Droid Incredible getting a spoonful of Froyo on August 18th?
The Droid's slated for a second helping of Froyo, the Droid 2 came with one, the Droid X will see Android 2.2 by early September -- when's Droid number four getting its due? According to Mashable 's anonymous sources, August 18th will be the day Verizon begins the Droid Incredible's OTA rollout -- which lines up pretty well with what we heard a couple weeks back , not to mention the fact that HTC just released the handset's Android 2.2 source code . As always, dates slip and Verizon often dishes out small batches at a time, but now you've got a ballpark estimate to assuage your troubled mind.

Android 2.2 upgrade for Droid X may already be trickling out, other Droids shortly?
We've already gathered that Verizon, Moto, and HTC all seem to be pretty well committed to bumping most of their Droid models to Froyo (as well they should), but things are starting to get real -- really real. First off, we've been fed a shot of a tipster's Droid X that has apparently already been blessed with 2.2 over the air; the baseband version is a tick older than the one in a shot leaked over on My Droid Life , but it's anyone's guess how Motorola is staging this and what the final gold binary really contains. We've also seen a 2.2 ROM for the Droid Incredible leak recently ( and the Droid before that ), so uncorroborated rumors we're seeing that three of the four retail Droids will be getting 2.2 by the 15th of next month aren't necessarily crazy

AT&T sold out of iPhone 4 pre-orders for launch day
BGR's reporting that AT&T's launch day allocation of iPhone 4s is now sold out, and anyone who got in the door after 1:30PM Pacific Time will get their unit some time between June 25 and July 5. Frankly, we have no idea how anyone managed to get a pre-order in, let alone enough to sell out -- but everyone who did deserves a pat on the back and a high-five
