PS3 sound but no video when using multifunction cable
Unit plays fine when using hdmi but I attempted to use on an older TV that only has yellow/red/white (video and sound) input. I get sound but no picture. I tried on 2 TVs with same result so I know it isn't the TV connection issue. Since the TVs only have the yellow/red/white connections I have no option. Any ideas on what the problem is?

can you have optical out and hdmi audio out on at the same time?
I want to get sound through an hdmi receiver most of the time, but also be able to turn the receiver off and use my 5.1 headphones which connect via optical. Any way to do this? Or do I have to manually adjust every time?
