Virgin Mobile USA partners with Walmart for Broadband2Go offer, $20 a month for 1GB
If you took a gander at Virgin Mobile USA's latest Broadband2Go plans you might have noticed a bit of a hole between $10 a month for 100MB and $40 a month for unlimited data. Consider it plugged, with a new $20 monthly 1GB plan that starts today. That's quite a bit nicer than the previous $20 for 300MB plan, but of course there's a catch: it's available only at Walmart , and only to owners of a Novatel MiFi 2200 or Ovation MC720.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz available on Vodafone, Satio looks on with envy
If you don't have a need for a physical keyboard -- or you're just not willing to wait long enough for the Vivaz Pro to come to market -- then you might want to take a gander at Sony Ericsson's plain-Jane Vivaz now that it's available from Vodafone in the UK. The Symbian -powered slate features a 3.2-inch WVGA display, 8.1 megapixel still camera, and 720p video capture with continuous autofocus -- a truly unique feature for a cameraphone at any price. As is usually the case with these guys, you're able to score the Vivaz for a big, fat naught on contract as long as you're willing to pony up at least

Samsung S5620 ‘Monte’ possibly leaked, looks better than it sounds
We know the FCC's already gotten a gander at this thing, but the general public... well, that's another story altogether. Daily Mobile has a bunch of shots of what it claims to be Sammy's upcoming S5620 Monte, a silly name from a company that certainly hasn't shied away from funny branding in the past (one quick look at the Corby or Rant should be able to verify that for you)
