Droid Incredible update starts rolling out, packs fixes and V CAST Apps
As expected , Droid Incredible users are now starting to receive an over the air update that packs a number of fixes and additions. The biggest of those additions, of course, is the V CAST Apps store, which will let you purchase apps and bill them straight to your Verizon account. Otherwise, you can expect to get an updated Slacker application, a Flash update with some security improvements, some Visual Voice Mail fixes, and the ability to email attachments larger than 5MB.

RIM’s Jim Balsillie hits back at the Steve Jobs rant, Apple’s ‘distortion field’
You had to know that Steve wouldn't get away with putting his five minute, competition-slamming manifesto out into the ether without some snap back from the competition. We've already heard responses from TweetDeck and Andy Rubin , and now RIM's co-CEO Jim Balsillie has issued a statement in response to Jobs.

Adobe AIR runtime for Android lands, apps already starting to follow
We've been looking forward to this for a while , and now it's here: Adobe AIR runtime for Android. That means developers using Flash Builder or Flash Professional CS5 can publish AIR apps directly to the Android Market, and all users will need is this little runtime from the Market and they're set. AIR's desktop-oriented .air packages aren't compatible, so you can't just go and grab anything, but there are AIR apps already starting to pop up -- AppBrain has a whole list of them in one of the source links below -- since Adobe has been trialling this with developers for a little while now

Samsung announces Bada-powered Wave II, not quite a whole new Wave
We only just got our hands on the Wave S8500 , but it looks like Samsung isn't wasting any time in further expanding its Bada options -- the company has just introduced the new and slightly improved Wave II. The biggest difference over the previous Wave, it seems, is a larger 3.7-inch WVGA SLCD screen, compared to a 3.3-inch AMOLED on its predecessor.

HTC Mozart shows off Windows Phone 7 credentials on camera, teases specs (video)
1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 , 576MB of RAM, 1,300mAh Li-Pol battery, 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD screen, and an 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash around the back. Those are the handsome, albeit somewhat predictable, specs of the purported HTC Mozart we have on show today. It looks and reads very much like HTC has just transported the Nexus One/Desire recipe into the Windows Phone 7 world, which isn't exactly the worst idea in the world.

Skyfire submits iPhone browser for App Store approval, we wait for the Flash to hit the fan
There was a time when Skyfire on Windows Mobile meant full Flash all the time. The 2.0 version on Android reigned that in a bit, really only supporting Flash video and little else, something Android 2.2 users no longer need to worry about. iOS users, however, do still spend their days ruing websites with such content, and so that's the market Skyfire is targeting next.

Motorola Milestone 2 arrives, 720p HD video, Android 2.2, and Motoblur Enhanced in tow
Even without yesterday's premature video promo , you had to know Motorola wouldn't leave its international audience without a successor to the Milestone, so today -- surprise, surprise -- we're being treated to the Milestone 2's launch. The first thing to be said here is that if you've handled a Droid 2 , you've also handled a Milestone 2 -- the new phone follows Moto's tradition of being a simple rebadge away from the Verizon-friendly Droid naming scheme, which means it retains the same 1GHz OMAP SOC, 512MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, 8GB of integrated storage, and Android 2.2 as the default, albeit Motoblured , OS

Motorola Milestone 2 makes official, albeit unintentional, debut
Sometimes it takes a crafty, steel-nerved individual to leak an unreleased phone's details ahead of time. And then sometimes all it takes is a negligently uploaded video
