T-Mobile launching 21Mbps webConnect Rocket, HTC HD2 next month

During Deutsche Telekom's press conference this morning at MWC, Cole Brodman -- T-Mobile USA's CTO -- went on record with the news that it'll be launching its first 21Mbps HSPA+ USB modem next month across the country, the webConnect Rocket. Of course, there isn't a lot of live 21Mbps footprint in T-Mobile's network right now -- in fact, only Philly is fully operational -- but there should be plenty more cities from coast to coast where you can enjoy DSL-shaming wireless speeds later this year .

WSJ: Apple and HarperCollins negotiating e-book deal for tablet

Here's the skinny from The Wall Street Journal : major publishing company HarperCollins is in talks with Apple about bringing e-books to the oft-rumored, still-unconfirmed tablet that's expected to be the focus of its January 27th event . The article also states that other publishing companies have been in talks with Cupertino HQ.

Kindle for iPhone takes over the world, hits over 60 new countries

We all now know that Kindle is more than an e-book for Amazon -- it's an entire digital content platform with aims on world domination, which explains why the company has felt more than comfortable releasing software-based readers for other platforms . To that end, they've announced that Kindle for iPhone is now ready for download in over 60 additional countries, which probably overlaps as a pretty beefy subset of the list of countries to which the actual Kindle is shipping
