Droid Droid features Blur Pro 2, informal
It is unclear whether it comes from Motorola, leaks, or is it strictly the act – but either way, it seems that you get a profile, the possibility of changing the use of original Droid Droid Pro 2 now thanks to new buildings identified in 3.0 (still based on Froyo, though). You need to get installed on a custom recovery move, but as long as you have to set up, install the new build seems to RCA … so go ahead and show your Global Droid two brothers, you do not need 1.2GHz processor in your profile.

I want to install Android on my 3rd gen iPod Touch. I heard it does not work, but I would really like to know. All files found on a Mac or Linux. I have shared Hackintosh on my computer and I’m ready to use it. Is it possible to install Android 3rd gen iPod Touch to a computer running Windows 7?
I’m going to buy a smartphone – the HTC or Samsung desire Galaxy’s Android 2.2. However, I heard a new version of Android, which is published later this year, obviously (version 3.0). If I buy a phone now, is it possible to update the OS later? Or it was suggested that I look forward to joskus.Kiitos in advance for your suggestions.

Droid Incredible takes a stable bite out of Gingerbread (video)
Android 2.3, get your Android 2.3! A Gingerbread ROM for the Droid Incredible that's been cooking on xda-developers for a couple of weeks is finally looking ready for mass consumption. It hit version 4 overnight, fixing a few niggling issues and enabling the 8 megapixel camera, which leaves only its video recording and GPS functions on the to-do list

Verizon sucks at Photoshop: confuses the Droid X for an iPhone
Man, Motorola's not going to be pleased about this! The Droid X is justifiably one of Verizon's marquee devices for this holiday season and takes pride of place on the carrier's Cyber Monday offers page, but wait... why does its screen display the iPhone version of Google Maps?

Verizon’s Droid lineup available at Amazon for a penny per handset with no activation fee
Yeah, retailers are always undercutting carrier pricing, sometimes pretty dramatically, but Amazon's taking things to the limit this weekend. You can score any of Verizon's major Droid phones for a penny, and Verizon is also fronting the $35 Verizon line activation fee. Of course, you'll have to sign up for a two year contract, and you'd better not think about canceling out of it: Amazon has a $250 per device cancellation fee on top of Verizon's own hefty charge

Motorola Droid 2 Global hands-on
At this point we're completely amused that the Droid 2 Global has managed to leak out , get advertised , go on sale , and even arrive in customers' hands without so much as a PR peep from Verizon, so we leapt at the chance to get a quick hands-on with it last night here in NYC. Nothing here you wouldn't really expect, and we weren't able to run any performance tests on the speedbumped 1.2GHz processor, but we were able to solve the mystery of that camera bulge : turns out the Droid 2 Global is a hair thinner than the standard Droid 2, and the bulge pops out just enough to make up the difference

BoxWave’s Keyboard Buddy turns your iPhone 4 into the Droid it always wanted to be
Suffering from a little bit of Droid envy? It happens to even the most loyal of iPhone users, and now BoxWave is stepping in to make your life almost complete (we say "almost" because there's still no native Gmail client for the iPhone, and all your tears aren't going to solve that). The BoxWave Keyboard Buddy Case is just what it sounds like, a Bluetooth keyboard embedded in an iPhone 4 case, only instead of flipping out like the TK-421 or slide-tilting like the ultra-bulky Nuu Mini Key , BoxWave's solution is a simple sliding affair that adds very little to the iPhone 4's profile and hardly anything to its footprint

Droid 2 Global GSM bands locked, camera bulge added to case
No surprise here, but it looks like Verizon's on-sale -but-never-really-announced Droid 2 Global has its GSM radios locked down, meaning you can't just throw an AT&T SIM in there and expect anything to work. Of course, the enterprising hackers at xda-developers are hot on the case, so there's a chance things will be opened up, but we wouldn't hold our breath

If you weren't so keen on that LTE-enabled LG handset for Verizon that we saw recently, feat your eyes on this puppy.

Droid Pro on sale a little early, shipping now
Verizon's been all kinds of leaky and loose with its Android lineup lately -- the Samsung Continuum was anything but a surprise , the Droid 2 Global is now on sale before even being officially announced , and now the Droid Pro is also on sale well ahead of its scheduled November 18th launch date. Whoops! If you'll recall, the Pro was only supposed to be up for pre-order now , but it's actually listed as "add to cart" on Verizon's site and tipsters have gotten overnight ship confirmations

Motorola Droid Pro official on Verizon: $179.99 after rebate, pre-sales begin November 9th
Exactly as suspected , the Droid Pro will start its Verizon retail adventure tomorrow, with pre-sales at selected VZW stores and the carrier's online outlet, to be followed by its proper shelf debut on November 18th. Price is set at $179.99 on a two-year contract, provided you're happy to take care of a $100 mail-in rebate. Moto will be hoping business types lap this offer up, as it has equipped the Droid Pro with an unusual (outside of RIM's realm) portrait QWERTY keyboard as well as a dual-mode CDMA/GSM wireless chip.
