HTC Knight hits Best Buy’s system with PG0610 model name

We've already seen what's purported to be the HTC Knight show up in Sprint's database under the guise of the HTC A7373 , and we now have yet another model name thrown into the mix courtesy of this supposedly legitimate shot of Best Buy's data transfer system. As you can see, what's clearly labeled as the HTC Knight is now sporting the PG0610 designation (previously seen at the FCC ), and it's chilling alongside the HTC EVO 4G , which certainly makes sense -- although it's less clear what the ancient HTC Apache is doing there

Venue Pro makes brief appearance on Dell’s website: $150 on-contract, December 14th launch?

There's no sign left of it now, but it looks like none other than the Venue Pro made a brief appearance on Dell's website earlier today, complete with a few key details about the device. Namely, that it will apparently run $150 on a two-year contract or $500 off-contract (which is a bit different than the asking price was at Microsoft stores), and that it will start shipping on December 14th. Of course, it's entirely possible that Dell pulled the page in order to make some changes to those details -- and considering the Venue Pro launch so far , that might even be likely

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 hacked to support multitouch, sort of

So there's no recent sign of an official multitouch update ever coming to the maligned X10 from Sony Ericsson, but you know how it goes: when a manufacturer fails to step up to the plate, a hacker with a heart of gold (or two) usually does so in its place. So it goes in this case, with folks on xda-developers showing off some very, very rudimentary multitouch capability on video

Samsung M360 hits Sprint for a big, fat zero on contract

We wouldn't dream of paying a dime for this thing on a two-year agreement -- if anything, we'd expect a carrier to pay us -- so imagine our relief to hear that Sprint won't be charging anything upfront for the Samsung M360 after $160 worth of instant savings and a $50 "web special." It's not much of a looker, though it offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, speaker-independent voice dialing, and -- still a somewhat unique feature in this device category -- threaded text messaging support. It's available right now in any color you like, as long as it's blue.
