Dell Venue Pro finally available to order: $99 on contract, shipping December 9th
The much-delayed and much-desired Venue Pro is now finally ready for its proper launch. Dell has begun taking online orders for its first Windows Phone 7 device and prices are set at $99 for the 8GB handset or $149 for the 16GB version -- both on two-year contracts with T-Mobile as your carrier -- or, alternatively, you can snap them up for $449 or $499, respectively, if you just want the phone by itself. Shipping is promised for December 9th and there's even free delivery if you have a couple of business days' worth of patience.

Motorola’s Droid 2 in the wild, looking as blue as ever
And that, folks, is our first in the wild look at Motorola's second generation Droid . It's not officially supposed to hit retail until tomorrow, but that obviously hasn't stopped a delivery truck from unloading a few at a nondescript Sam's Club. We're still waiting to hear back on whether or not they're actually being allowed out of the store today, but hey, tomorrow ain't too far away

Dell to offer Streak pre-sale with 99 cent Bluetooth headset deal
We still don't know exactly when the beefy Streak will be hitting US store shelves, but Dell's finally ready to start teasing us about it by offering to take down names and keep interested parties in the loop. It's more than your average, run-of-the-mill reminder service, though: Dell will be giving these folks an "exclusive 24 hour pre-sale purchase window," which presumably means you'll get the phone a day early, and will offer you some model of Plantronics Bluetooth headset for 99 cents when you present a coupon during your Streak order. You'll also get free two-day shipping, but let's be honest -- we all know you'll be paying extra for overnight delivery anyhow.

White iPhone 4: early DIY edition, with a touch of black
Sorry, we couldn't wait -- having spent 11 hours on the streets waiting for the iPhone 4 , it's only natural to give our precious new toy some extra special care. With the help of iFixit's teardown guide , we decided to take the plunge with our steaming hot Chinese delivery -- a white front cover (with a shiny proximity sensor area above the earpiece), a white back cover (with "XXXXX" marked as the model number, ergo a prototype), and a Retina Display unit. Alas, there weren't any white buttons in stock at the time, but let's pretend this black-and-white combo is the new cool

iPhone 4 arrives at Walmart
Check out that sweet, sweet box. Yes folks, we seem to have received our very first in-the-cardboard picture of the retail iPhone 4 out in the wild. We don't work at Walmart, so we can't verify this one for ourselves, but our tipster says Apple's latest phone has just landed in the big box retailer's storehouses

Adobe says no delays to Flash 10.1, CEO was just talking hardware
In a communication with Phone Scoop , Adobe has tidied up the meaning of its CEO's words from a recent interview with Fox Business . In it, Shantanu Narayen repeatedly tells us to expect new Android, WebOS and BlackBerry devices with integrated Flash compatibility during the second half of 2010, but Adobe has now explained that he didn't mean that the Flash delivery schedule will be delayed, not at all. You see, Narayen was talking about hardware coming out in the second half, but Flash 10.1 itself will still be arriving "to first mobile platforms including Android ...

Sprint standardizing on RealNetworks’ platform for music delivery
Even in the face of an endless torrent of free and subscription music services that are doing their best to effectively soak up the world's 3G bandwidth, carriers are showing no sign of giving up the fight for a piece of the audio download revenue pie; indeed, three of the four US nationals run their own branded (or co-branded) services. Sprint happens to be in that group , and they're looking to present a slightly more unified front by bringing tracks, ringtones, and ringback tones under a single roof that'll be managed by RealNetworks' Media Entertainment Platform.
