HTC Knight hits Best Buy’s system with PG0610 model name
We've already seen what's purported to be the HTC Knight show up in Sprint's database under the guise of the HTC A7373 , and we now have yet another model name thrown into the mix courtesy of this supposedly legitimate shot of Best Buy's data transfer system. As you can see, what's clearly labeled as the HTC Knight is now sporting the PG0610 designation (previously seen at the FCC ), and it's chilling alongside the HTC EVO 4G , which certainly makes sense -- although it's less clear what the ancient HTC Apache is doing there

Nexus S now available, get to your nearest Best Buy post-haste
It's so fresh, so new, and so comfortably shaped we don't know how anyone could resist getting their own Nexus S to have and to hold this holiday season. Well, there is one reason: getting up on a cold Thursday morning at 8am is no fun. If you're dedicated enough, Best Buy is selling them right this very moment, and again the up-front cost is $199 on contract, $250 for adding a line, or $529 if you roll restriction-free

Nexus S in stock on Carphone Warehouse’s site a little early
So this is how it was supposed to go : Best Buy would start selling the Nexus S in the States on December 16th, and Carphone Warehouse would follow on a few days later -- the 20th, to be exact -- in the UK. Looks like the British are going rogue here, though, because Samsung's Gingerbread -packed slate is showing "in stock" on Carphone Warehouse's site right this very moment, which should theoretically mean it ships the same day if you order it before 5PM local time. Let us know if you get it in your paws before the 20th, alright

Dell Streak busts out a white back for Best Buy exclusive
Seems like Best Buy has developed something of a taste for snow-white exclusives , as it's now become the first retailer to offer up Dell's 5-inch Streak tabletphone with an alabaster case. We're hearing the only way to grab the new palette option is to go down to your nearest Best Buy store, though online reservation and payment is also available. Not every store has them just yet, so checking ahead of time might also be advisable.

White HTC EVO 4G leaves the Best Buy nest, migrates to Sprint stores
Once a Best Buy exclusive , the white version of HTC's still-badass EVO 4G is finally making its way into actual Sprint retail locations, the carrier's website, and other third party stores for the same $199 on contract after $100 mail-in rebate as usual. Gives us a good opportunity to levy the same complaint we'd levied before -- that the front of the phone should be white, not just the back -- but hey, at least passers-by will know you're stylin' when you've got it held to your face. iPhone 4, EVO 4G Powermats arrive at Best Buy
Well, ain't this exciting! If you own an iPhone 4 or EVO 4G, it looks like the tyranny of the charging cable is soon to be a distant memory. That's right: one of our moles at Best Buy has photographic evidence of new wireless charging systems, cases, and Powermats for both of the aforementioned handsets. Didn't know we had moles, did you

T-Mobile G2 pre-orders starting tomorrow for current customers, it seems
T-Mobile has had a longstanding tradition of giving current customers first dibs on pre-orders for hot products, and it looks like the upcoming G2 will be no exception. TmoNews has a rather telling screen shot suggesting that T-Mobile subscribers will be able to sign up for the Android-powered QWERTY slider starting tomorrow through October 4, with retail availability following a couple days later on the 6th; we've already had that date on lock through Best Buy Mobile, so it comes as no surprise

Droid 2 mockups land at a Best Buy Mobile store

Motorola Charm pops up on Best Buy for $250, hopefully off contract
We've seen rumors that T-Mobile was considering pleasantly inexpensive ways to get the Charm when it's released, so we're not really worried that we're looking at Best Buy's on-contract pricing here -- after all, $250 sounds about right when you take into account a $200-ish subsidy and a $50 rebate. Anyhow, the biggest box of them all has posted its product page for the cute little portrait QWERTY Android munchkin, promising it's "coming soon" but offering little else in the way of details. Is it just us, or is this a strangely exciting release

Best Buy Connect wireless service is official, offers contract-free plans
We'll admit that we never took Best Buy as the kind of company to sell its own wireless service, but you know what Best Buy does sell? Laptops with unlocked WWAN modems, and to that end, the retailer's Best Buy Connect offering seems to be a pretty attractive one. Monthly plan pricing is about what you'd expect from anyone else, and you'll be able to choose between two-year, one-year, and contract-free packages for the same price -- the only difference is how much subsidy they'll throw in for you upfront
