AT&T says New York 850MHz 3G upgrade is complete, voice quality improved 47 percent

AT&T's service in New York City has long been decried as some of the worst in the nation -- we've heard people claim 30 percent of iPhone calls drop on average -- but hopefully things are about to get a lot better, as Ma Bell's just finished its 850MHz 3G upgrade in the city. That means the carrier should have more capacity in all five boroughs, and we're told voice quality has improved 47 percent since last quarter

Apple randomly canceling some iPhone pre-orders? Update: AT&T pre-orders too?

We haven't verified exactly what's going on here, but we've gotten several tips tonight from people who've received an iPhone 4 pre-order cancellation email from Apple saying that their order couldn't be authorized. That sounds like an AT&T authorization problem to us, and given the the litany of problems that Apple and AT&T had all week dealing with the huge number of pre-orders , we can't say we're too surprised to hear that the chaos continues.

LG flexible display patent application includes fever-dreams of future devices

We're still a ways out from real-world applications of flexible displays , but LG is preparing for the future: it's just filed a patent application that details changing a flexible display's touch sensitivty depending on the state of the display, and it's included some intriguing drawings of potential devices with the application. Specifically, the patent application includes claims referencing cylindrical, prism, folding, "rolling," "freestyle," and "hybrid" body shapes, which all sound pretty intense -- especially the hybrid body, which is a "combination of the folding body and rolling body." Of course, patent applications don't always turn into granted patents, let alone shipping products, but if you're in the mood to stare wistfully at line art and dream about the future, the full PDF is at the source link. Verizon’s Incredible new phone may be in stores within ‘two weeks’

It's a mighty aggressive schedule for a handset that hasn't even been announced yet , but the latest scuttlebutt regarding the HTC Incredible suggests that the phone will make its debut on Verizon's airwaves about two weeks from now. It was already known that the Incredible was destined for a rendezvous with Big Red, but this latest word solidifies and specifies that future nicely -- and it's claimed to come directly from internal sources at Verizon.

My Opinion: PS3 Wireless Controller May Cause Cancer

This wireless controller.  It is emitting a radio signal in all directions.  It's not an infared beam.  It's essentially a tiny radio broadcast unit.  The player typically holds this broadcast unit close to the human body and is subjecting human cells to a constant bombardment of radio signals.

If someone is brain dead do they still have a spirit

My brother was hit by a car and killed, he was still alive, but because he was an organ donor they kept his body alive to harvest his organs is it possible that if he was not an organ donor that they would have done every thing they could to keep him alive.

What’s your Body Type?

Why is that my boy can eat a block of cheese at midnight and not having an ounce, but I take 3 pounds eating half a bagel with half dug before noon? A winner of the genetic lottery clearly I am not.
Typing the body has been around fitness and bodybuilding circles for decades. It was developed by an American doctor, Dr. William H. Sheldon around 1940.
The types of the body of Dr. Sheldon was originally renamed in recent years. Ectomorph has become "Thyroid"; Endomorphs became "lymph" Mesomorph and turned into "Androids".
A new category of body type was also created. It's called Gynaeoid ( "Guy-noid") body type and applies only to women.
In the new classification of body type, Gynaeoid ( "Guy-noid") body type is characterized by "excessive estrogens promote fat deposition around the lower body and cellulite. "Pera" is an accurate description for the type of body Gynaeoid.
Gynaeoids tend to have the shoulders for small, medium and breasts of varying sizes. The hips and thighs curve outwards and weight gain occurs only below the waist.
Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez is the poster child for the type of body Gynaeoid.
Gynaeoid women tend to have a predominance of estrogen that targets the uterine region, hips, thighs and breasts.
If weight loss is attempted by following a low fat diet low in calories, there is a reduction of the chest, shoulders and arms, etc., lose pounds and inches in the lower region is more difficult.
However, the type or Mesomorph android body are characterized by broad shoulders, big chest and strong, muscular limbs well formed.
It is no coincidence that Android stands for androgyny: women tend to be Android "kid" in the hip area. They are shaped more like a rule of hourglass. The waistline is not accentuated.
World-re-known entertainer Madonna is a perfect example of the Android body.
Android women have an anabolic metabolism, thus increasing trends of weight. Like the mesomorph body types Android build muscle mass easily. They also tend to be strong mentally.
Weight gain occurs in the upper body and the front of the abdomen, then an apple "shaped torso may develop.
The prevailing myth is that Endomorphs have difficulty losing weight. Ectomorph can not keep gaining weight, and Mesomorph have the best of both worlds – you can eat what they want and never have a gram.
Although there is rare to find someone who is a pure "ecto", "endo" meso "andro" or "gynecologist.
We tend to be unique combinations of each inheriting genetic characteristics of our family genetics.
For example, an I / thyroid Ectomorpic Framework (narrow, thin bones), but my body composition is strongly Android / Mesomorph with annoying Endomorphic / Lymphatic tendencies around my middle section (many inches to pinch), and parts of 'rear end.
Extremenly is important to know which body type you most favor, because often what works for one body type when it comes to nutrition, exercise and weight loss (or gain) can be absolutely disastrous for another.
Knowing the type of your body is the key to good action to improve your current health situation for the better.

I Am A Female With An Android Body Type. What Is The Best Diet And Fitness Regimen For Me?

Android body type means you are athletic and have broad shoulders and big ribcage with undefined hips and waiste, and your thighs are muscular. If you gain weight, it’s all in yoru upper-body (so that makes you apple-shaped). I also have an anabolic metabolism. Also as a sidenote, I’m a vegetarian (so lately my diet has been more carbs than anything else). I also like to run.
Any help? I’m trying to lose weight. Thanks!
