Droid Droid features Blur Pro 2, informal

It is unclear whether it comes from Motorola, leaks, or is it strictly the act – but either way, it seems that you get a profile, the possibility of changing the use of original Droid Droid Pro 2 now thanks to new buildings identified in 3.0 (still based on Froyo, though). You need to get installed on a custom recovery move, but as long as you have to set up, install the new build seems to RCA … so go ahead and show your Global Droid two brothers, you do not need 1.2GHz processor in your profile.

I want to install Android on my 3rd gen iPod Touch. I heard it does not work, but I would really like to know. All files found on a Mac or Linux. I have shared Hackintosh on my computer and I’m ready to use it. Is it possible to install Android 3rd gen iPod Touch to a computer running Windows 7?
I’m going to buy a smartphone – the HTC or Samsung desire Galaxy’s Android 2.2. However, I heard a new version of Android, which is published later this year, obviously (version 3.0). If I buy a phone now, is it possible to update the OS later? Or it was suggested that I look forward to joskus.Kiitos in advance for your suggestions.

Motorola Defy ‘expected’ to get Android 2.2 in Q2 2011, says O2 Germany

Though we loved the Defy , we were quick to admonish Motorola for having the stones to release a phone this late in the game running Eclair ; after all, Froyo's been on retail devices since June, so rocking 2.1 on a new release is just a little insulting.

Motorola Droid 2 Global hands-on

At this point we're completely amused that the Droid 2 Global has managed to leak out , get advertised , go on sale , and even arrive in customers' hands without so much as a PR peep from Verizon, so we leapt at the chance to get a quick hands-on with it last night here in NYC. Nothing here you wouldn't really expect, and we weren't able to run any performance tests on the speedbumped 1.2GHz processor, but we were able to solve the mystery of that camera bulge : turns out the Droid 2 Global is a hair thinner than the standard Droid 2, and the bulge pops out just enough to make up the difference

Motorola Defy review

The Android landscape's certainly getting crowded, isn't it? We can still vividly remember the days when the T-Mobile G1 was the only game in town, and now here we are -- just two years later -- flush with options covering virtually every market segment from the ultra-high end to the ultra-low and everything in between

Motorola Defy makes a splash on T-Mobile this November 3rd for $99

T-Mobile USA's tweet pretty much says it all -- the Defy is nigh -- and you'll be able to pick Motorola's ruggedized handset come November 3rd for a penny under $100 on-contract. It's not the fastest handset on the block , saddled as it is with both Blur and Android 2.1, but there's nothing quite like a handset that you can stab with a pen or dunk in the drink while it's still turned on. Motorola Defy makes a splash on T-Mobile this November 3rd for $99 originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 21 Oct 2010 07:19:00 EST

Motorola and Verizon’s crazy portrait Droid Pro unveiled (update: specs!)

Whoa -- we knew Motorola likes to get funky with the form factors , but the new Droid Pro on Verizon might be the strangest (and best) yet: it's a portrait device (the rumored Venus ) with a BlackBerry-esque keyboard below the screen.

Motorola ‘Begonia’ is T-Mobile’s Cliq 2, features WiFi calling?

We've been tossed a few scraps of information in the past few hours on T-Mobile's upcoming Cliq 2 -- codenamed "Begonia" -- and though we don't know much, what we do know is enough to be a little excited about. Here's what we've got: Android 2.2 with Blur Keyboard design is said to be "interesting" -- in a good way -- described as "one solid piece" without any gaps between keys.

Motorola snaps up location specialist Aloqa

Location-based services are a pretty hot topic right now -- though not necessarily for all the reasons Google would like -- and Android specialist Motorola is diving a little deeper this week with its acquisition of German firm Aloqa. For those of you not familiar with Aloqa's app (which is available on a pretty wide variety of platforms), it basically keeps track of local events and deals that you might be interested in based on your location (and on Aloqa's partnerships, of course). For its part, Motorola says that it's looking to integrate the company's technology with Blur , both proving that Blur isn't going anywhere any time soon and also suggesting that Aloqa's apps on competing platforms might be short for this world; no word on a launch timeline, though

Motorola Defy hitting T-Mobile this holiday season, details to come… on Oprah

Remember that Defy that Motorola outed at the front end of this month? Turns out the Europeans won't be the only ones seeing it this Christmas, as Moto has just revealed that it'll be hitting US airwaves exclusively on T-Mobile "in time for the holidays." You already know the details -- a 3.7-inch WVGA scratch-resistant touchpanel, plenty of rigidity, Android 2.1, the ability to withstand dust and water, a five megapixel camera (with flash and auto focus), DLNA support and the outfit's own Blur interface -- but it looks as if you'll have to wait a tick to find out anything about pricing. How long?

Motorola Flipout makes North American debut with a Rogers exclusive

In another case of Canadians getting things ahead of their southerly neighbors, the Motorola Flipout has made its journey across the Atlantic and settled on Rogers as its first North American carrier. 3-year contractual commitments will be greeted with a lowly C$30 charge for the phone, or if you can't bear the thought of being locked in for so long, you can buy the flipping thing outright for C$375. As a quick reminder, the Flipout runs on Google's Android 2.1 OS, but embellishes things a little with a freshened up variety of the Motoblur UI
