Option’s refreshed GTM601 / GTM609 module is the smallest with voice, HSPA, EV-DO, GPS, GLONASS, and alphabet soup
Besides a healthy consumer modem business, Option is one of the world’s big suppliers of cellular chipsets — and it just unleashed a particularly interesting one here at CES this week. No bigger than a postage stamp and about as thick as a nickel, the second-generation GTM601 and GTM609 is billed as the world’s smallest to support voice, GSM / HSPA, CDMA / EV-DO, GPS, and GLONASS, which stands to make your next phone design (assuming you are, in fact, designing a phone) more svelte and power-conscious than ever before… and as a bonus, it’ll work around the world with the world’s most popular 2G / 3G standards and frequencies. Follow the break for the full press release.

Im looking for an App that allows me to view and edit:
Microsoft Excel Files/ Microsoft word.
However it would be nice if you could also edit and view pdfs, and ppts as well but i know thats alot to ask for a phone.
I was thinking about getting Documents togo, but im not sure of any of the Apps in the Android Market due to the lack of description.
What is the best tablet to get with the up to data android OS on it. One that can run all the apps fast?

Cricket TXTM8 3G tries, fails to include entire alphabet in name
It may not be quite as adorable as its 3G-less predecessor , but Cricket's TXTM8 3G is likely to find an audience just the same -- people love the portrait QWERTY form factor, after all. The phone features a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth, web browser, and -- as the name implies -- support for EV-DO Rev. 0 data.

LG’s C900 Windows Phone 7 handset for AT&T gets FCC approval
If you wade through LG's alphabet soup of upcoming WinPho 7 goodies, you might recall that several of them seem to be headed directly for AT&T later this year. Evidence for one of them in particular -- the C900 landscape slider -- just got a little stronger this evening on news that a phone by the very same model code has just been hooked up with FCC approval in the past few hours
