Kyocera Rio hits Cricket today for $130
Alright, we know what you're thinking, so let's just clear this up at the outset: it ain't Android . That being said, Kyocera's new Rio for regional carrier Cricket features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD expansion up to 16GB, a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth, and an optical trackpad -- a rather unusual touch for this market segment. Of course, Cricket likes to play the no-contract game, and sure enough, the $129.99 that the carrier is asking nets you the Rio without a commitment.

myTouch 3G’s Froyo update well underway
From the looks of T-Mobile's official support forums, it hasn't gone out to everyone just yet -- but it looks like lots of myTouch 3G owners are now getting the official Froyo update the carrier announced back on the 13th of the month. Unfortunately, this doesn't include myTouches equipped with a 3.5mm jack -- those details are slated for "the coming weeks" -- but in the meantime, old-style device owners can expect a pretty stock-looking build of Android 2.2. Oh, and if you haven't gotten it yet, cool your jets (trust us, we know how hard that can be)..

T-Mobile Garminfone now on sale, price still boggles the mind

Jabra Clipper stereo Bluetooth headset gets official
Well, it just wouldn't be MWC without a few Bluetooth headsets to go along with the new phones now, would it? Thankfully, Jabra has come through with its new Clipper headset which, like Jabra's BT3030 , packs a standard 3.5mm jack to let you pair it with your own headphones (although Jabra also supplies a pair of its own noise-canceling buds). Otherwise, you'll get some full, discreetly hidden controls on the clip itself, and a promised six hours of talk time and eight days of standby
