I would have to say you have to look deeper than that. If you consider Rock to be the “brick and mortar” then R&B, Folk and Jazz are really the foundation. I would have to say that it is that society and music are reciprocals of one another. Are you the “Nexus One” ? who knows~
Some people seem to think so. Our language, fashion and a lot of other things are influenced by it. Or is the music influenced by what goes on?
