PS3 Bluetooth Headset Cutting Out

I have the official PS3 Bluetooth headset.  Anyways, I use it with COD:MW and it seems to be cutting out.  I can only get short sentences in before it stops transmitting.

I can probably get about 3-4 seconds of talking in before it cuts out and I have to wait for it to start again, a short moment later.

Any ideas?
