PS3- cant play… "game appears to be unavailable"

I downloaded the PS3 Battlefield demo last week but didn’t buy the full game until 03Jan10. Ever since I downloaded the full game unlock I have been unable to get in a server. After it tries for a few minutes I get an error message that says “Connection Problem- The game appears to be unavailable, please try again.” I press x then it says “Cannot Join- The game appears to be unavailable, please try again.”

I have taken the following trouble shooting steps.

-Tried to connect to a quick match and an air superiority match, same results all times of day.
-Ran an internet speed test on my ps3 which results in a download speed of around ~10MB/ps and about ~2 MB/ps upload.
-Deleted Battlefield 1943 then re-downloaded the demo and the full game unlock, same results.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
