Trouble Getting onto Singstore

Recently got online with the PS3, no problem doing online gaming where my signal strength etc is good. In network settings getting about 50%. Every time I try getting into the Singstore it goes extremely slow and If I ever get as far as trying to download a track the signal usually times out. Have set up accounts ok, added funds etc. Any idea why this part of the PS3 service is slow whilst the rest seems to work ok??? Thanks
