Static sounds while playing PS3 games?

Whenever I play PS3 games on my television it has a static sound whenever there are higher pitched noises. It Doesn’t happen when I’m watching television, playing on the 360, or watching blu ray movies. I have a 32" Vizio and I’m using component cables. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
