Final Fantasy VII problems : /

Hey guys…

so i got FF7 from a uk store,to work on my NTSC console,but since i have HDMI,that wouldn’t be a problem…

when i first opened the game it gave me a black screen,but i could clearly hear the sound….

i figured that it’s coz of the ps upscaler,as it was on,so i turned it off and the game ran just fine,but of course with bad graphics…

in an attempt to make the ps upscaler run,i changed the output setting to 720p instead of 1080p…

guess what? i got an error message saying "this content cannot be played on this video output setting"…

now thats weird because all my current games are from the UK,and they run just fine,so i switch it back to 1080p and the error is still there,now i can’t even play the game : /

is ps upscaling not supported by FF7? and it there a way to fix that error message?

*update: after messing around a bet,i set the HDMI setting to automatic and the game worked,but i still need to know why the ps upscaling is not working…
