How much money have you spent this yr. on your gaming needs?
I was reading a thread in here where some people were discussing what they had spent on their gaming & it got me to thinking. This year I spent a ton of money on my gaming needs, maybe too much but I figured I’d start a thread on it. Here’s what I’ve spent this yr.
LG 42" LED LCD 240hz HDTV – $1,400.00
19 new disk based games – Roughly $65 a piece with tax = $1,235.00
7 used disk based games – Roughly $30 a piece cause some were recently released & some were older also I got an edge card for GS = $210.00
PSN account – I just checked my bank statements and I’ve put $225.00 on my account this yr.
26 Game guides – Roughly $15.00 a piece cause I usually get them with the new game for the discount at GS = $390.00
2 DS3 controllers – 1 new & 1 used = $90.00
PS eye – $35.00
WD 640GB Scorpio Blue HD for my PS3 = $103.00
Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard for my PS3 = $83.00
1TB Samsung Spinpoint HD & Rosewill external enclosure for backing up my PS3 = $150.00
Cobra CBT1 Bluetooth headset = $81.00
Rosewill shielded HDMI cable = $22.00
Bytecc CAT6e cables = $14.00
USB2.0 cables = $25.00
Tools to open PS3 = $45.00
Grand total = $4,108.00
Now that’s a rough estimate trying to account for taxes & shipping on items I ordered online but that is a pretty accurate figure for what I’ve spent this yr. on my gaming needs. What about you guys?
