I don’t really get how anyone can consider to use an Android phone. G. sniffing in your personal data all the time anyway, now dumping all the most personal data of mine on their servers? They’re not that trustworthy after all. G. Wave for what? Unless it’s fully encrypted it will just become another MySpace for gadgetheads. G. grows more and more into this ‘Big Brother’ kind of thing (1984!). I’ll have an eye on what Nokia is doing with it’s Maemo platform, looks more promising to me…
very good video.i completely agree that microsoft WOULD be a good competitor. but the thing is that its pretty hard for them to keep upreason being is that from the past product launches they had are complete rubbish…windows 7 is half of osx. and there are not much innovation there since windows xp.and for msft and google.their not even int he league. bing is a search tool and google is MORE then a search tool. google docs, sites, blogger, wave and so on. what msft is missing is: INNOVATION
I think his point is not that one is cheaper or can’t do what the other can it’s that android like windows is going on other Phones and devices not just one like the iphone and not just one Provider Like At&t.Now android is on a internet tablet (Archos 5) and coming to Netbooks
Sandbox OS’s are for kiddies. So… what do you actually accomplish in that sandbox… I mean besides IMing your friends to remind each other how cool you are ?Sorry – to busy for that – got an enterprise to run… and I’m setting up my cockpit with Chrome flight controls !Ride the Wave.
it is, look how many mobile phones that have android os, over a dozen and google are launching a computer os next year whereas apple only have one mobile phone os, and also android have pmp multi media players, like the archos series, which is rival to apple ipod touch, archos is dear but its so much better than itouch.
