Is this bad?
My PS3 started to get kind of loud and it started when i was playing the Uncharted 2 demo and got loud after...2 hours of play, is this bad? and what can i do to stop it from getting this loud (3rd gear or 2nd gear)?

Who misses the good old days of a memory stick?
I do that's for sure... I do love how its all internal now and u don't need to buy memory sticks any more.. But I remember when I used to be able to rent a game go and play it and then a friend calls and says wanna come over? And I would take it over with all my saved data and be able to have all the guns and stuff like that..

How can I reformat (or restore) my HDD ?
My situation= PS3 is stuck in a loop trying to install update 3.(?) , I keep getting error code 8002f14e. My bluray drive died and I didn't realize it would cause it to fail firmware installations. So I want to get it out of this loop somehow until I send it to Sony for the bluray repair.

Downloading Demos on PC?
been searching the site for some time now and can't get a real answer. Does anyone out there know if i can download game demos from my PC and move them to my PS3 from an external HD? for those who wonder why: no internet connection at home. thanks in advance.
