help with divx videos!!
so i just burned a few divx files onto a dvd disc some of them work the ones that are 535 kbs but all the other one that are like 518 kbs, 471 kbs etc. DON'T WORK. So what im asking is there anyway to get these work on my ps3

BLU-RAY is the BEST DECISION for PS3
I just realize that the game RAGE from ID SOFTWARE will be in 4 dvd disc and DOOM4 might be 3 dvd disc. I feel a little bit turn off when a sandbox and fps games are in multiple disc.

My PS3 doenst play Blu Ray movies or DvD’s
Well Ive had my PS3 since late 07 (I have the 80 GB versions with the PS2 playback) and now it decides it doesnt want to play my movies. I tried Blu Rays, and dvds. The Ps3 sees the disc, so Im able to see it on the XMB but then when I push to play I get a blank screen.

has your PS3 not played sound?
mine has... but i found out that if you turn on the PS3 before your tv, and wait a few mins., the PS3 will play sound...

Beware of buying from Craigslist
I've seen people on these forums write about buying used PS3's from craigslist. Of course if you use common sense, you'd know that it isn't the safest way to buy a PS3 because more than likely, you don't know the person who is selling it. Just warning the fellow PS3 community.
